Lee Xin Yi as John Lee Seng Kiat / Tan Teck Seng

A “Believe” alumnus, Xin Yi starred as Bulldog’s gang member in the first staging and as “young John” in the second.

Xin Yi has recently graduated from Outram Secondary School, and is awaiting entry into a polytechnic. He is passionate about acting and drama, and aspires to be an actor.

“I’m really happy to return to “Believe” as there will add to my experience as an actor”, said Xin Yi.

Royston Cheow as Tan Teck An

Currently pursuing his diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management in Temesak Polytechnic, Royston enjoys singing and performing, and aspires to be an artisite.

Royston returns to “Believe 2010” to reprise his role as Teck An, the probabtion officer.

“It was an enjoyable journey during Believe 2007 and now, having the opportunity to perform in Believe 2010, I feel very honoured to be again be part of the family. It will surely be another milestone experience for me, something I will remember forever.” Royston intimated.

Joshure Soh as Gary Koh

A graduate from Holy Innocent’s High School, Joshure is now pursuing his studies in ITE.

He enjoys badminton and taekwondo, likes pizza/ pasta, Japanese food, anime and manga.

Joshure was “Bulldog” in “I Want To Be A Star”, a musical adapted from “Believe” in celebration of Holy Innocent’s High School’s 50th Anniversary. This will be his second foray into musical theatre.

Ashley Foo as Xena

Having been in the Sep 2007 Believe as part of the ensemble, Ashley returns this time as Xena, the prison warden.

Besides good music, her interests include watching performances, anime and collecting manga. She likes to collect movie dvds as well.

“I’m really proud to be a part of the Believe team once again. I think this musical not only adds the value of entertainment to the audience, but it brings across an inspirational message. I will definitely recommend everyone to get the tickets early before they are sold out!” smiles Ashley

Erina Kakinuma as Jules

A recent graduate from Tanjong Katong Secondary School, Erina is hoping to further her education in one of the polytechnics.

Erina is a seasoned performer, having been a part of Dance Ensemble Singapore since 1999. Passionate about the stage and singing, she is excited about her involvement in “Believe 2010”

“I hope that Believe will be a great success, and I look forward to the rehearsals, especially the choreography, as I’m really into dance!” Erina gushed.

Sherman Foo as Bulldog

Sherman's debut in musical theatre was in Believe 2007. Since then, he had been involved in numerous roles with production companies such as Mediacorp's "Incredible Tales", Threesixzero Productions & Channel U's "My World My Blog" series 1 and 2.

"It is an extreme honour for me to be back in Believe the Musical as Bulldog. Believe was what helped me get started and it will be what I like to do again. It is important to believe in whatever we do and whoever we are." said Sherman.
